Biography
Jim is a member of Actors Equity and a graduate of Southern Methodist University MFA Acting Program. Jim has had a long and varied career. From 2000 to 2016 he worked extensively in Washington DC. He has also worked and lived as a actor in Seattle, Chicago, and Houston. Currently, he is on faculty at KD Studios Actors Conservatory of the Southwest. Jim was also on faculty at Nebraska Wesleyan. Jim has also acted as Managing Director for New Theatre Company and Fountainhead Theatre.
Some awards and nominations include: Washington DC Area: Helen Hayes Nominations for Best Ensemble; Angels in American Part I and II, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot. DFW Area: Dallas Theatre Critic's Awards; Season of Work, Leon Rabin Best Actor; Rocket to the Moon. Recently, Jim was named Fort Worth Weekly Critics Choice Northside Hollow and A Lost Leonardo was mentioned in both "Theatre Jones" and "The Column Awards" Best of(s) 2017.
